Well we got some news today, but I would not call it good, and not terrible either. Just ambivilant. Apparentlly the counsolet in DC asked for all of our agencies ready dossiers and said they would take them up until the 25th of May. If you have been following along you know that ours was in the mail on the 14th when Kazkahstan abrubtly stoped taking dossiers to convert to a Hauge guidelines. We have been anxiosly awaiting to see if our postmark of the 14th will get the dossier through for two weeks now. The news we got today is that the cousolet really does not want all those dossiers and that he will be sending some back. We are just praying that ours will make it through. My heart also breaks for the families that might not make it through and for the kid who wait and wait and wait. Hopefuly there will be some good news soon. In the mean time I must learn to trust. What will be will be and at this stage of the game there is not a darn thing I can do about it. Ugg!
On a different note, we are going to Kazapalooza in Wisconson and I am thrilled. I never realized how valuable the whole Kazkah adoption comunity would be to me. I feel like I have this outstanding extended family of people who have traveled a similar epic journey. We are all so different but our common link superseads all of that.
